With The Spooky Season Upon Us Do You Believe In Ghosts? Those With Higher Household Income Believe Less

Tis the season for all things spooky.  Ghosts and goblins are everywhere.  Do you believe in ghosts?  47% of Canadians do.  The highest percentage of believers are in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.  Some fun Canadian ghostly trivia to share with your pals at work.

 

47% of Canadians believe in ghosts.

* One in five Canadians (18%) say they have been in the presence of a ghost;

* Belief in ghosts is highest in Ontario and Atlantic Canada (50% in both), and is lowest in Alberta and Quebec (42% in both).
* As household income rises the propensity to believe in ghosts declines.
* Those with kids are more likely to believe in ghosts than those without kids (55% vs. 44%).
