Two Suspects Identified After Theft of Three Poppy Donation Boxes

Barrie Police have identified two suspects in connection with a string of thefts of Poppy Donation Boxes from Friday, November 10th, 2017.

After a lengthy investigation, including numerous tips from social media and media coverage, police have identified two suspects wanted for the thefts of three Poppy Donation Boxes. The thefts occurred within a short period of time on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at two Tim Horton’s located in Essa Road and one Tim Horton’s located on Sarjeant Drive. Warrants will be sought for two males, one a 19-year-old and a second 17-year-old young offender, both from Barrie.

Police have yet to determine how much money was obtained by the suspects.
