Three People Charged In Connection With Shooting In Oro-Medonte

Barrie OPP and Paramedics responded to a report of a male who had been shot on Old Barrie Road in the Village of Rugby. Last Monday at 9:20 p.m.

The victim, a 37-year old Aurora man, was transported to a Toronto area hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police executed a search warrant at an Oro-Medonte Township address. During the search, police discovered evidence which ultimately led to the arrest of three individuals.

Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old male of the Blue Mountains, a 63-year-old male and a 30-year-old male both from Oro-Medonte with: Attempted Murder.

All three accused have been remanded into custody and appeared in court earlier today.
