Finally- a fully automated, tech enabled golf driving range has opened to the public in the west end of Toronto.
The big appeal is a self teeing system that automatically tees up balls for golfers and continues to do so, in an instant, after every drive.
Golfers challenged with back pain will appreciate that they don’t have to bend down to set up a ball before their next stroke.
Tee heights are adjustable to 3 different levels on a touch screen, making it easy to drive a ball, practice a fairway shot or short game.
iRange Toronto owner Kevin Siu-Chong says ,”On a typical range you can hit a bucket of 100-200 balls. Whereas in a typical round of golf, you only bend down 18 times. Here you focus on perfecting your swing without the painful and annoying interruption of having to pick up the golf ball for the next swing.”
