A recent study in The US, learned at least 64% of women in their 50’s snore – a habit that prevents them from getting deep restorative sleep, leading to next-day fatigue. The remedy? Singing with gusto for 20 minutes daily. Snoring occurs when lax muscles in the soft palate and throat collapse, causing the air flowing past them to vibrate, min turn producing the telltale racket. But researchers say singing tones those muscles to reduce snoring frequently by 57% and lower the volume by 47%.
