Scientists Say Gently Nodding Your Head Makes You A Third More Likable

According to new research, scientists suggest that a polite nod of the head can make a person almost a third more likable and increases their approach-ability by almost half.  Results showed that head shaking, had no effects on the ratings for likability and approach-ability. But head nodding significantly increased those ratings.  In particular, the researchers found that a nodding head motion increased likability attributable to personalty traits rather than to physical appearance.
