Police Looking for Men Accused of Violent Assault in Vaughan

York Region police have released disturbing video, they hope will find the men accused of a vicious assault at a tire shop in Vaughan.

Investigators have been able to determine two unknown men entered the tire shop on Hanlan road, August 20th, 2018, looking to speak to one of the employees.

Shortly after the men entered the store, they assaulted one of the employees who fled out the front door of the shop. The two men returned to the business and assaulted a second victim.

During the assault the victim was punched and kicked multiple times and a tire was thrown at his upper body. Following the assault, the suspects fled the area on foot, south on Scholes Road towards Steeles Avenue.

Two employees were injured, and police say one of them may not fully recover from his injuries.

Suspect #1:

  • Male, Black
  • 5’7”, medium build
  • Wearing a black hoodie, black bandanna on his head
Suspect #2:

  • Male, Black
  • 6’1”, thin build
  • Wearing a blue hoodie, blue bandanna on his head, also wearing sunglasses

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident but has not spoken with investigators is asked to come forward.
