Police Catch Sea Doo Going 94Km/h in 50Km/h Zone

On July 1, 2017 at around 4:30 p.m., a member of the Central Region SAVE Team of the OPP was monitoring the vessel flow on Nottawasaga River, north of Edenvale and observed a personal water craft at a high rate of speed; 94Km/h in a 50Km/h specified speed zone.

The vessel was stopped and the operator charged appropriately.

Charged with “Operating power driven or electrically propelled vessel over maximum speed specified” under the Vessel Operation Restriction Regulations of the Canada Shipping Act 2001 is a 21-year old man from Vaughan.
