Polar Vortex Continues As Does Peculiar Weather

Today, Wednesday is feeling relatively warmer for a brief moment before the deep freeze returns Thursday, Friday and Saturday where we will see daytime highs around -17 degrees C.  Sunday takes a turn to milder temps and then Monday we’ll have a brief thaw and flirt with 0 and plus 1 in some areas.

This Cold Blast from the Arctic has extended all the way down the East coast as far as Jacksonville Florida where it is 2 C today with freezing rain.  In comparison Anchorage Alaska was warmer than Jacksonville yesterday.  Today Northern Florida and parts of Alaska are the same temperature.

Bundle up the freezing temps return tomorrow through Saturday.

I am off to pick up some long johns!

Stay warm friends.
