Barrie OPP officers have arrested and charged an Orillia man in connection to several break and enters in Oro-Medonte.
On June 13, 2018, police received a theft call at a home on Line 15. Through investigative work, the OPP was able to identify the suspect as a 26-year-old Orillia man. The suspect was also linked to several other incidents in the same area which took place around the same time, including several mischiefs and a stolen vehicle.
The accused man has been arrested and charged with unlawfully in a dwelling, six counts of trespass at night, two counts of mischief under $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of theft under $5,000 in relation to credit cards.
He was arrested on June 22 and held in custody for a bail hearing, which is set to take place on July 3, 2018 in Barrie.
