OPP Looking For Tips After Hit And Run In Orillia

Orillia OPP Seeking Assistance in Locating Vehicle Owner

 

ORILLIA, ON – The Orillia Detachment of the OPP is investigating a hit and run an Atherley Road business in the City of Orillia.

 

On July 13, 2018 at approximately 6:45 p.m. a vehicle entered the parking lot and struck another vehicle. The driver of the 2017 black GMC Sierra with decals on the back was seen on camera leaving the scene. Police were able to get a licence plate number and know who the owner of the vehicle is. Police have attempted to get in contact with the owner however he is avoiding police.

 

The suspect is believed to be residing in the Beaverton or Brechin area. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the vehicle owner, police are interested in speaking to this individual regarding the circumstances surrounding the collision.
