Nottawasaga OPP Seeking Identity of Good Samaritan

Police are looking to identify a good samaritan who helped save a family from a fire early Sunday morning in Alliston.

On Sunday, June 10, 2018, Nottawasaga OPP were called to a fire at a home on King Street North, just after 5 a.m.  First responders, including New Tecumseth Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Services, were able to safely remove all occupants from the burning home.

Police also noted that an unknown good samaritan stopped and helped to get all residents out of the house safely. They would like to personally thank the man for his assistance.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified and the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit will be continuing with the investigation.
