Environment Canada has issued weather advisories for the entirety of southern Ontario, warning that 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to blanket the region starting later this morning, or early this afternoon.
Blowing snow is also forecast in many areas, which could reduce visibility for drivers.
Provincial police have already responded to a number of traffic accidents in the GTA from the blast of snow overnight Saturday.
