Man Sought In Vaughan Robbery

York Police need your help identifying a man accused in a violent robbery in Vaughan.

On Saturday, October 6, at about 11 a.m., officers were called to a robbery at a carpet store on Yonge, south of the 407.

The owner of the store reported that two male suspects entered and demanded money.

The suspects reportedly searched the store and obtained the victim’s wallet, assaulted the victim then fled in a black, four-door Volvo which drove south on Yonge at a high rate of speed.

Police say one of the suspects was arrested, but they’re still looking for the other.

  • Spoke English with no accent
