Long Weekend .. Gas Prices Up Again

With many Canadian motorists ready to hit the road for the
Victoria Day long weekend, rising gasoline prices are likely to
greet them at the pumps.

Dan McTeague of GasBuddy-dot-com says drivers in Ontario and the
Vancouver region will probably see higher prices, but lower prices
could be found in Quebec and Alberta, thanks to local retail market
pressures.

Earlier this year the gas guru predicted a spike in prices, but
now he says Thursday’s average Canadian gas price of a
dollar-34-per-litre — up 26 cents from last year — is actually
worse than expected. (The Canadian Press)
