Lakehead University Orillia Is Hosting Science Olympics Simcoe/Muskoka

A group of high school students from Simcoe County will have the opportunity to visit Lakehead University Orillia today, Friday May 11, for a fun and informative day exploring science and engineering.


Science Olympics Simcoe/Muskoka is a one-day event for students in grades 9 to 12, made up of a series of problem solving events that require teams to use their knowledge of science and engineering in creative and fun ways. It’s an exciting opportunity to inspire and foster interest in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics.  


Science Olympics Simcoe/Muskoka is a joint venture among Youth Science Ontario and the faculties of Science and Environmental Studies, Education, and Engineering at Lakehead University.
