Keep Cool In Aurora This Canada Day Weekend

With the recent hot and humid weather, the Town of Aurora reminds residents that air conditioned facilities, pools and outdoor splash pads are available to help keep cool. Please be reminded that recreation facilities will be operating on holiday hours this weekend.

For residents and visitors attending the Canada Day festivities at Lambert Willson Park on Sunday, July 1 the following will be set-up to help you and your family keep cool: water coolers, tents with limited seating, water sprinklers, water misters, pet watering stations, and mobile and stationary first aid stations. Please remember to wear your sunscreen, dress appropriately for the weather and drink lots of water if you are attending Canada Day events or are spending time outdoors over the coming days.
