An Indiana man was arrested for the second time after driving his lawnmower while drunk, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy said a neighbor called 911 to say that Barry Ridge, 46, was wearing a neon green shirt, riding a red lawnmower, and pulled into his yard before he began to mow the grass. The caller said he asked Ridge to get off his property. Ridge told the deputy he was headed to his home from his uncle’s home and had three beers “about an hour ago.” According to the police report, Ridge’s BAC registered as a .165. The legal limit in Indiana is .08. Ridge was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated with a previous conviction. Police said they also impounded his lawnmower.
