Freezing rain is expected to begin this morning and last for several hours before changing to rain late this afternoon or early this evening.
Environment Canada says highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery, resulting in road closures.
They also say ice build-up may cause tree branches to break, with the possibility of power outages.
Buses are cancelled for York Region Public and Catholic school boards.
Buses are cancelled for the Peel District School Board.
Buses are cancelled for Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
Buses are cancelled for Simcoe County, all zones.
