Celebrate Gravenhurst features unique opportunities for shopping, entertainment and family fun. Come explore Historic Downtown Gravenhurst enjoy two days of celebration this Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
Free Family Fun!
We are happy to have Fluffy Feet Face Painting joining us on Friday August 11th from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. in Heritage Square. Come on down and have your face painted, free of charge!
Back by popular demand! Gypsy Boy Tim Webb will be guiding two Life Drawing sessions in front of the Gypsy Market Mews. No experience necessary! Try your hand at Life Drawing on Saturday August 12th at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. All supplies will be provided.
You will not want to miss a ride on this classic trackless train. Come take advantage of this free opportunity on Saturday August 12th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Those wishing to ride the train can get on board at the Parkette just beside Knapp’s Furniture.
The rock climbing wall at this event is always a huge hit! This year we’ve gone with an inflatable rock wall for a new challenge! Come out and enjoy, free of charge, on Saturday August 12th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

You won’t want to miss Gina Horswood, LIVE at Celebrate Gravenhurst Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale on Saturday August 12th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. just outside the Arts at the Albion.
Gina has travelled the world with her music and opened for such acts as Dana Fuchs (Across The Universe, off-broadway “Love, Janis”), Suzie Vinnick (10X Maple Blues Award winner, 3X Juno Nominee), Jon Brooks (three-time “Songwriter of the Year” nominee at the Canadian Folk Music Awards) and Basia Bulat (2013 Polaris and Juno nominee). We are so excited to have her performing at this year’s festival!
We are thrilled to have Kitchen Party performing at this year’s Celebrate Gravenhurst Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale! You can catch them LIVE in front of the Arts at the Albion on Friday August 11th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. AND on Saturday August 12th from 3-5 p.m.
Kitchen Party is an offshoot of the ever-popular Muskoka Melody. You may have seen them perform at the Gravenhurst Opera House. They are a lively group that performs everyone’s favourite hits from the 50s and 60s. Muskoka Melody was formed with the purpose of performing and raising money for worthy causes, particularly here in Muskoka. To date we have raised nearly $50,000 in three years. Kitchen Party will be donating their payment from Celebrate Gravenhurst to the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst Charitable Trust.
Michael “Mighty Lopez” Phillips will be setting up shop in Heritage Square for a LIVE performance from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. on Friday August 11th as part of the Celebrate Gravenhurst Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale! Michael hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter drawing on influences from classic Americana & Canadiana roots.
We are so happy to have Dave Cruise and his band, Cruis’n Country, join us for the Celebrate Gravenhurst Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale. They will be performing their easy-listening country hits on Friday August 11th from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. in Heritage Square.
Join the Beaver Dam Band from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on Friday August 11th in front of the Arts at the Albion. Enjoy hits from this community band that boasts clarinets, a tuba, several saxophones and live percussion!
The Rick Adamson Trio is no stranger to Historic Downtown Gravenhurst! They will be performing on Saturday August 12th from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. in front of the Gypsy Market Mews. This talented trio cover a wide range of styles – pop, chill, bossa nova, smooth jazz, and hard swing – all with a distinctive bluesy feel and funky groove.
