Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k

Founded by Newmarket resident, Joe Persechini, the Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k is York Region’s longest running fundraiser for children and youth with physical disabilities. Over the past 41 years, this popular community event has become an indelible fixture in York Region, raising nearly $3 million to help children and youth with physical disabilities.

Expected to attract 1,000 enthusiastic participants, the Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals 10k provides a challenge for serious runners, while also offering a fun and family-friendly event for walkers.

Whether you’re looking to set a personal best in the 10k or simply enjoy a leisurely walk with your family while raising funds for Easter Seals Ontario, we have something for everyone!

About Easter Seals Ontario

For the past 95 years, Easter Seals has played an important role in providing programs and services that help kids with physical disabilities focus on what they can do rather than on their limitations.

Thanks to its generous donors, Easter Seals continues to offer programs  that enable kids to experience greater freedom, independence, integration and so much more. Easter Seals helps with financial assistance for mobility equipment, communication devices and summer camp opportunities at its two fully accessible properties, Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden. It also provides parents with valuable special education and other information resources.

Easter Seals Ontario relies fully on the generosity of public donations to offer its programs and services.

Together we are helping kids BE KIDS. For more information, visit easterseals.org.
