De-Clutter (Most of) Those Sentimental Items

Many of us have things we can’t bear to part with because there’s a memory or some other sentimental feeling attached.  Here’s a few ideas to..let it go…let it go:

Decide If It’s Worth Keeping:  If you use and enjoy the item, hang on to it. But if you have repeats of the same thing( children’s artwork) you may not need to keep every piece of it

Choose a Few Items That Remind You Of a Loved One: If you have inherited many items, see if other members of your family would like to some too.  Donate the rest.

You Can Get Rid of An Item Without Getting Rid of the Memory:  Take a picture of the item to place in a journal or scrapbook and write why it means so much to you.
