Caledon Man Charged after OPP Recover Stolen Bobcat

In May 2017, officers from the Street Crime Unit of the Caledon OPP began an investigation into a stolen Bobcat Mini Excavator from the Toronto area.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence located in Caledon.

Subsequently, David Rego, 41, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Altering/Destroying/Removing a Vehicle Identification Number.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Orangeville on July 20, 2017 to answer to the charges.
