Carrot Fest returns to Bradford on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, August 19 from 9 a.m. to midnight. The event has expanded for 2017 to include a longer Friday event with more entertainment and activities as well as booths by local vendors.
What started as a small downtown market has grown to be Bradford West Gwillimbury’s largest and most successful event. In fact, Carrot Fest has been recognized as a “Top 100 Festival” by Festivals & Events Ontario for seven years in a row.
The black organic soils of the Holland Marsh make this one of Canada’s biggest carrot-producing regions. Carrot Fest is a celebration of BWG’s agricultural heritage and a way to bring the community together to enjoy and take pride in what makes the town unique.
Carrot Fest has something for everyone! With over 300 vendors, Carrot Fest is a great opportunity to shop, eat and learn more about businesses and organizations from near and far. Entertainment is plentiful. The main stage is fully programmed with family friendly performances and top-of-the-line bands, and there are also two busker pitches and a multitude of strolling entertainers.
