Bee-loved Flowers Available to Plant Now

Bees Matter is calling on us to plant pollinator friendly gardens during National Planting Week , June 5-12, 2017.

It’s to support the important role that honeybees play in talk of our lives.

Many factors have an affect on honey bee health including, inclement weather, parasites, diseases and inadequate nutrition.

On a bright note, according to StatsCan, honey bee populations increased in 2016 but there is much more to be done, get involved by visiting beesmatter.ca to order a free Buzzing Gardens seed kit and learn about honey bee health.

As Canada marks its 150th Birthday this year, Bees Matter has a goal to distribute 100,000 Buzzing Gardens seed kits!
