Business Insider claims a California Department of Motor Vehicles employee is in trouble for taking naps at work. A state auditor discovered that the woman has taken a three-hour nap at work every day for the past four years. She cost the state $40,000, but will not be disciplined because the napping was not reported or properly documented. The woman may have a medical condition that prompts her to sleep at work.
She took a 3 hour nap everyday for 3 years.
One doctor’s told the DMV that she was unable to perform her work duties, though a later doctor’s note said the opposite.
