Air Canada Magazine – Best New Restaurant

A 20-seat Italian diner in Quebec City is at the top of Air

Canada’s Best New Restaurants list.

Battuto is this year’s highlight on the list compiled by the

airline’s enRoute magazine.

It’s described as a 400-square-foot trattoria, where chef

Guillaume St-Pierre’s dishes include paper-thin rounds of

Charlevoix-pork lonza and grilled octopus.

Similarly small, chef-run spots nabbed second and third place —

Canis in Toronto and Bar Von Der Fels in Calgary.
