85% Of Clothing Ends Up In Landfill And Could Easily Be Recycled

85% of our used clothing is being thrown away and ending up in our landfill. It could easily be 0% with proper recycling.   There are so many different ways to recycle clothing.  Either through charities and thrift shops.  What surprised me was that so much was going to the dump.  Also surprising is that there is a market for unusable clothing.  Charities and thrift stores that find unusable clothing can bale it and sell it to recyclers who in turn can make any number of new items from shop rags to building materials and construction materials.
