32,000 Hot Dogs, 650 Gallons Of Ketchup; Part Of The Menu For Super Bowl lii

Most of us eat too much on Super Bowl Sunday, and if your waistline isn’t proof enough, consider what people are going to eat at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium, home to Super Bowl LII.  Chef James Mehne and his team of 2,000 at Aramark, which provides the food and beverage provider for the stadium, has crunched some numbers.  Here’s what the company expects to go down during the Big Game:

Hot Dogs/ Brats/ Sausage: 32,000
Peanuts/ Nuts: 10,000
Specialty Sandwiches: 11,000
Pretzels: 6,500
Nachos: 7,000
Chicken Tenders: 9,000
Pounds of Cheese Curds: 2,600
Pounds of Chicken: 3,000
Pounds of Shrimp: 1,000
Pounds of Fruit: 1,000
Pounds of Vegetables: 2,000
Gallons of Ketchup: 650
12 oz. Cups of Coffee: 3,500
Bottles of Water: 45,000
